Snowboarder The NY 4th Grade Ski & Ride Passport program is set for another season. Not only does it offer free skiing for kids with a paying adult* but also if your child has never skied before we also offer a learn to ski or snowboard package option. You can choose either one for this season.

The 4th Grade Ski & Ride Passport Program works this way:

Fill out an application
Send it in with $19 and proof of being in 4th Grade, consisting of a last quarter 3rd grade report card or first quarter 4th Grade Report Card, progress report or even a copy of the birth certificate (see our FAQ for more information on proof of grade).
Choose on the application if you want the Learn to Ski or Snowboard booklet OR the 4th Grade Ski & Ride For Free booklet.
Fax or mail in the application and fee (Visa/Mastercard/Discover, Checks or Money Order accepted).
In late November/early December you will receive your booklet for those who apply now but after the initial shipment booklets will be mailed out daily.
We will be taking passport applications through March 1, 2010 so you have plenty of time.

* $19 processing fee applies.

With the late February snow and ample supply of great March skiing we will take passport applications through March 15th! We ship out the booklets the next business day and rush shipping is available, just email us at passport@44free.com for full details and apply today!

Passport Program Update - Yes We Still Got 'em!

A question we receive frequently "Is it too late to get a 4th Grade Passport? I just found out about this program?" the answer is nope, you're not too late at all. We will be taking applications for this season through March and the booklets are good until May 1st or until the last NY ski area closes for the season, whichever comes first. Also while we state the standard 2 week turnaround time right now we are getting them out the door with 2 business days once we receive your application and proof of grade. Faxing in the application and proof of grade is faster. You can also scan and email your application and proof of grade as well.

The booklets have arrived and we are busily putting them together and sending in the mail. We hope to have the iniitlal shipment complete by the end of the day Monday. You can check your status under the application menu. If you're in there yours will be going out.

Hello - due to circumstances beyond our control the booklets will not be shipping out until December 18th. We apologize for any inconvenience and we can assure you that once we get them from our printer they will be shipped out immediately. This problem was way beyond our control and we will do our best to get the booklets to you as soon as possible.

Just a quick note to let you know we expect to start mailing out the passport booklets in very early December when we receive them from our printer.

If you are wondering if we have your application or if it was processed we will have the status checker application online here around Monday. Watch this site for updates and if you haven't sent in your application you can do so at your convenience, we will be accepting applications through March 1, 2010 or while supplies last.
